Part 2: Even Darker Still
Course Objectives:
- Review the stern layer model of remineralization & its application to caries prevention in the oral cavity.
- Understand how NHA behaves in the stern layer model of remineralization in the oral cavity.
- Compare evidence-based research findings the efficacy differences between NHA vs fluoride.
Part 3: Toxicology Myths
Course Objectives:
- Understand how to read a toxicology report.
- Learn the objectives of a toxicology report including the relevant data, units of measurement & language.
- Apply the knowledge from Parts 1 & 2 when reviewing the findings of the European Union's SCCS 2025 Toxicology Report on NHA.
